This project proposes the renaissance of the Russian village. An optimal solution would be to reincarnate the vernacular five wall log house as a new structural unit. The elongated strip of land would cut costs on road construction. A selection of modular decorative elements could be combined in countless compositions to enliven an otherwise identical housing typology. Rammed earth would be the material of choice for its many economical and ecological advantages.
