Exhibition ‘Where does the homeland begin?’

Project’s authors tried to create a collective portrait of Russia, describing its live through photographs.

The story of 39 people with different views, nationalities, religions and way of life, but connected with language and culture. The project was made possible by Irina Meglinskaya, one of the most important Russian curators in photography. 36 Russian photographers have participated in the project.

The exhibition was held in two stages. It was seen first by the citizens of Ufa in the foyer of a hockey stadium Ufa Arena. Then the exhibition was shown in Museum of Moscow.
