The building is located on a low hill in a beautiful vineyard valley, at about 350 metres above sea level in the Caucasus mountains.
The form of the new landmark winery alludes to a spy mansion. The volume consists of two \u2018pucks\u2019. One is buried into the ground to maintain the required temperatures for wine distillery and storage. This allows the wine to mature in natural conditions, minimizing the use of pumps.The buried level also houses preparation rooms, a museum of wine making, and the main entrance zone. The second volume is pierced with a diagonal cylindrical staircase that leads to a roof terrace, which can be accessed separately from the building. To access the roof terrace, one must take the staircase from the outside. Inside, the staircase becomes a central organizing element, surrounded with a café, shop and degustation room. The interior of the top floor is glazed around the perimeter, revealing an unobstructed panorama of the entire valley.<\/p>
