The fashion house, a&nbsp;private venture of&nbsp;the Yusupovs, became a&nbsp;trendsetter in&nbsp;the roaring twenties, competing with the most prestigious Parisian fashion houses of&nbsp;the time, until it&nbsp;was closed during the economic crisis of&nbsp;1929.
